To Be honest I can't really put a picture of everyone who has impacted my life. Really anyone that is in my life or ever has been has impacted my life.. Just a few: everyone in my family especially my parents, my friends, people I have dated, etc. They have all impacted my life so much, and have made me who I am today!

Some short term goals for this month was when I finished finals to have a worry free break! I have been doing pretty good at this; although, I always find something to stress about!! Also, get everything ready for the new semester which I need to do ASAP beings how there is only a week left of my break :( SADDDD DAYYYY!

I think this man counts as a superhero.. Well in my book anyways. MY DAD! This man is truly my best friend. He knows me better than anyone else and he can tell how I am feeling- even when I try to hide it! I love him more than anything- and I hope I can be half the person he is someday! STRESS!
Stress will be the death of me. I stress about EVERYTHING! And When I say that I am not kididng. My dad always tells me "You stress about not having anything to stress about!" This is so true. I always worry about everything- even the smallest things. I need to get better at this! ;) I am trying haha! Hopefully I will get better, but I Highly doubt it lol!

4.0 BABY!

So I just thought I would do a quick post about school! This semester was my first one in the Education Program! It was so time consuming and definitely the hardest semester I have ever taken! But I LOVED EVERY SECOND! There were times when I asked myself what the heck I was doing, but deep down I really loved learning everything I did. I absolutely loved field, and I know I have chosen the right major for me!!

After all the time, effort, tears, hardwork-- it paid off! I just received my grades and they were all A's!

4.0 BABY!!! I am so excited and so proud of myself for sticking with it. 7 classes and 16 credit hours!!
i made it!!- and can't wait til next semester!!!

Day #3

Top- Kelsi and I.. This girl and I go way back. She truly is an amazing person! She has been my best friend for a long time, and I dunno what I would do without her!

Middle- Bainter and I. This kid and I have been friends since we were 12, but just recently started hanging out lots again. He seriously is an inspiration to me! He is one of the strongest kids I know. He always knows how to make everyone laugh. He is so caring, and that is why I love him! :)

Middle- Lacey Lu and I. We met through friends, and ever since our first road trip together we have been best friends. She is amazing! She is always so willing to help and to listen no matter what! Thanks for everything Lace! Love you!

Bottom- Suz and I met at UVU. We were in the same math class and at the time had the same major. Ever since then we have been best friends, and she is AMAZING!!! Thanks for everything Suz, love you!!

I know I have missed adding a lot of friends on here! I just added some of the first photos I found- and I am too lazy to add more! I love all of my friends, and I am truly blessed! Thanks for everything ;)! Love you all!

How did I get SO lucky?!

Today is one of those days where I have been just sitting around thinking- Why you ask? Probably because there is like 3 feet of snow outside, my car is covered, and really I have nothing else to do today (:

Today, I have been asking myself this question- I have amazing friends, an amazing family, higher education, going into a major I love, etc.....

Its just a thought I had today! I love feeling this way- and truly life is going so great right now.. I have had kind of a rough month- with a lot of trials putting me to the test but ya know I can't complain. Those times truly are making me a better person and Look they only led to GREAT times..

Thankful!

Lately I have been reading so many facebook posts and blog posts about what people are thankful for! I thought it would be fun to do a little post to say things that I am thankful for:

• My Family- honestly without their love & support I would be nowhere today! (of course I have to give a shout out to my main little man-Kellon! Love you buddy)
  
• My AMAZING boyfriend, Dustin- I love him so much! He is honestly the greatest! Lately has been a crazy time in both of our lives, but yet he still puts up with me :) I couldn't thank him enough for sticking by me! He gives me so much hope- and makes me a better person everyday! I love you Dustin!
  
• School- no matter how tired I am of school right now I am so thankful to have an opportunity for a higher education! I cannot wait until I am graduated!


• My sixth grade class in field- honestly these kids are so awesome! They are great kids, and they make me so excited to become a teacher!


• Dustin's family- Even though it has been awhile since I have seen everybody they are always so welcoming towards me! They are so nice and loving! They honestly have a great family, and they are so caring! Plus gotta love the little ones- Trev, Macie, Trey, and Ry! :)

These are just a few things that I am thankful for! I am thankful for so much more, but it would take all day to post this! I cannot wait until Thanksgiving, and then after Thanksgiving there is only a couple more weeks left of school. I cannot believe I will only have 3 more semesters! CRAZZZZZZZY!


Life has been crazy and I have not posted in OHHH SOOO LONG! SO here is a little run down. Well deer and elk hunt were unsuccessful this year! Although, I did not fill my tags I had an absolute blast going out hunting with Dustin and my Step-dad Heath! It really was such an awesome experience. Thanks guys! Hopefully I will fill my tags next year! I did; however, draw out for a cougar tag! I cannot wait for this hunt! Hopefully it is successful!

I have been doing my field experience in the 6th grade all this month of Novemeber. This week my partner and I actually got to teach the children our own lesson plans! It has sure been an adventure, but all of our lessons have turned out GREAT! I know everyday when I go into that classroom that I chose the right major! I absolutely love it!

Anyways, I hope everyone has a FANTASTIC Thanksgiving! :) Happy Holidays!

OCTOBER!

I know, I know I have been slacking! But boy lately I have been going 1,000,000 mph I feel like! I started the education program August 25th and ever since then I have not stopped to even breath I feel like! It has been keeping me so busy, but I must say I truly love it! I think this picture to the left describes exactly how I have been feeling lately: So many books, so much homework, so many presentations! I can't believe how crazy busy I have been! There have been a couple times when I think to myself, "HONESTLY Crissa!?! What did you get yourself into?!" I have been tempted to quit, not really, but it sounded good haha! I just have to keep my head up high and just remember that it will all be worth it in the end when I am finally a teacher with my own classroom. I think the toughest thing is not knowing how to organize everything. I am taking SEVEN CLASSES which I am not use to at all! So I feel like I always need to be looking at my planner, syllabuses, and the day of the week to make sure I am not forgetting anything. I always have to get inspiration from my family! I know they have so much faith in me, and they are constantly reminding me that I can do anything that I set my mind to! I love my family tons, and I thank them for always being there for me! I really do love the program, and I cannot wait to see what the next two years has in store for me!

I will try to be better at updating and adding more pictures! :)

School teacher?!

As I am sure you all know I am going to be entering the Elementary Education Program @ Utah Valley University this Wednesday, and I absolutely cannot wait! Often I get people that say

• "You honestly are going to be a school teacher?"
• "Why would you want to do that to yourself?"
• "You know teachers do not make that much money!?"
• "You are going to be in school the rest of your life, why would you want to do that?!"

I figured I would post a blog entry about why I want to become a teacher. Honestly, why wouldn't I want to become a teacher. So here you go for everyone that thinks I am crazy haha ;)! Sometimes I think I am to... but then I really think about why I want to become one, and I remember how great of an experience it really is going to be!

Ever since I was a little girl I have grown up acting like a teacher. My parents bought my little chalk boards/white boards, I had books gallore, pens, pencils, etc. I would always have my little brothers, cousins, friends, and whoever else I could get my hands on come be my students. I would read to them, "pretend" teach them, write up fake tests for them, and so on so forth. When people would ask me what I want to become when I get older I would always state "a teacher" of course.. Little did I know that I would actual be sitting here in the future, five days away from starting the rest of my life! I know that teachers do not make that much money, but everyone has to remember teachers are really only

• working 9 months out of the year, minus the days they have to go in the summer for workshops or to work on their classrooms.
• I will always have the same schedule as my children.
• Will always be in a heated/air conditioned building.
• Full benefits.
• Full retirement.
• Nights/weekends/holidays OFF
• Most importantly I will be helping children EVERY single day that class is in session.

I look back on my elementary years where I had some good teachers, not so good teachers, and then my GREAT teachers. The two teachers that stand out to me the most are my third and fifth grade teachers. They were awesome and I felt that I learned soo much! I want to be that kind of teacher! I want students to come into my classroom love every second of everyday (which is impossible, but hey I can dream), and then when that bell rings to go home I want them to WANT to come back the next day! I had so many teachers throughout my education thus far that have inspired me, and everyday I strive and will try my hardest to be that for my future students.

My math 2010 teacher once stated, "You guys will be the building blocks to children's futures." -- I agree 100% with this statement. I believe that as a teacher I have the power to make or break someone, and I will do anything in my power to teach, inspire, love, care, etc for my future students. I cannot wait until the day that I get to have my own classroom! I hope that my students will be able to tell that I LOVE my job, and I am not there just because I did not know what else to choose for my major. I believe that if students really tell that I WANT/LOVE to be there to teach them, that it will make them WANT/LOVE to learn that much more! I have done so many observation hours and prep for the education program, and I know each time I prepare that this is what I am suppose to be doing!

Now, YOU tell me: Why SHOULDN'T I become a teacher!?

I know that teaching, like any other job, will have its ups and downs.. but you always prepare for all the "ups" you can right?! Teaching, inspiring, making children feel good about themselves EVERYDAY..now that is MY KIND OF JOB! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MAIN MAN!

I have to post a birthday shout-out to my main man-- Kellon, my nephew! I love him soooo much, and he turned three today! Happy birthday buddy! I love you!

It was so funny, because we celebrated Kellon's birthday last week at Yuba. Well today I called Kellon this morning to wish him happy birthday, and he didn't believe it was his birthday "AGAIN"!

Phone call--

Me: Happy birthday bud! I love you!

Kellon: No its not my birfday Sissa (crissa). My birfday is all dawn! (gone) LUHH YOU!

He was getting so upset because he knew we celebrated it last week, so he was confused on how it could be his birthday two weeks in a row! He is soo funny.. (: I love that little boy more than life itself! I cannot believe he is three. It seems like yesterday we were in the delivery room waiting for him to born! I honestly do not know what I would do without him. Thanks Chase and Alice for bringing such a beautiful boy into this world. Love you all!

For his birthday I got him a little golf set. He loves to dolf (golf)... He always is asking his daddy to "doe dolfing".... And he always says "i need my dolf tees".. He is such a great little golfer already and even knows everything about it (almost!)

July 30th-- Dustin, Sam, Amanda, and I went to TIM McGRAW! Dustin and I drove up together to Highland to meet Sam and Amanda at their house. We left Sam and Amanda's at about 5:00 to head up to the Usana Ampitheatre. I was SOOO excited to see Love & Theft, Lady Antebellum, and of course TIMMY! (: I told Dustin like 1.3 million times before we got up there how HOT Tim was, and I think any lady would agree with me haha. Dustin said that all I kept doing the whole concert was salivating over Tim (that's not true.. I was only salivating like 98% of the time..he likes to exaggerate)! We got to Usana around 6:45 grabbed a couple drinks, (of course Amanda and I bought us some Tim shirts) , and then we went and found our seats. We had really awesome seats I thought! Even though some people in front of us would not sit down.. Still.. it was such an awesome concert. Ladies were throwing their bras to Tim.. It was kind of weird lol. But Tim was so sweet and grabbed two little girls on stage and danced with them! It was soo awesome.. I was wishing I was one of those girls pretty bad haha! After the concert was over it took us like 2 HOURS to get home. Parking at the Usana is ridiculous, but still it was fun. We seen some crazy things waiting in that parking lot to get out! Like some random girl just throwing her phone in the gravel, don't worry it broke into like 5 pieces.. Yep. Pretty sure that didn't make it work haha! but anyways Thanks Dustin, Amanda and Sam for an awesome time!

BACKSTREET'S BACK... ALRIGHT! (:

Yesterday was my FIRST day of Summer OFFICIALLY! I finished my math class finally. Yes, no more UVU math! I cannot believe that I am officially done with all my Pre-Reqs and now I am going to start actually working towards my career in the Fall! Ps.. for all of you that care haha I got a B+ in my math class! I was super STOKED!.. Anyways....... My Summer could not have started off better. Dustin and I got to go to the BACKSTREET BOYS Concert & Can I just say it was probably thee best concert I have ever been to! I could not believe how Amazing they are at entertaining!!! I absolutely loved it & not to mention they sang all of their old songs from when I was like 12, so I knew basically all the songs.. You bet your boots I sang right along with them! I remember being so young and listening to them. My friends and I would always make up dances to their songs. Nick and Brian are my favorite BSB boys by far.. But Howie is right behind them. For being around 35 the boys are hot as ever.. and yes they can still BUST A MOVE haha! I LOVED THE CONCERT! I think that Dustin probably thought I was crazy because I was loving every minute of it.. I know that I had Perma-Grin! Thanks Dustin for a great time! (:

New with me.... hmm (:

I guess that it is time to update.. since it has been a couple of weeks. Nothing new really has been going on in my life. Just the same old, same old... Work, school, and homework! School is really starting to stress me out. I just have to keep telling myself that it will all be worth it in the end. My summer class gets over June 23rd, and I honestly can't wait.. Then I will at least have a break until the education program starts in the middle of August!
The past couple of weekends I have went down home and hung out with the family. Two sundays ago we rode over to Hunnington and went four-wheeling. It was soooo much fun! This past weekend my dad and step-mom went outta town so I went and stayed with my brothers. Saturday night we went to Orem and watched the summerfest fireworks. They were really awesome. Sunday... we were SUPPOSE to go to Lagoon, but thank the weather for ruining that one.. I am honestly sick of this weather- but complaining does no good. So I just learn to deal with it (: ! Instead of going to Lagoon my brothers and I went up to Payson to the bowling alley and bowled four games.. Don't worry I won a couple! haha!
This week is going to be a pretty busy one, we are running out of time in our math class so we are going to be doing 2-3 sections a day instead of just one. UGH! haha! Can't wait 'til next week, cause then the class is OVER! Yay! -- This weekend Cecy (my step-mom) and Diego (my step-brother) are going to be leaving us and visiting their home, in Mexico for basically the rest of the summer. I am really excited that they are able to go back home and visit, but we sure are going to miss them here!
ANYWAYS-- that is really the rundown of the last couple of weeks and the remainder of this week.. If I do anything spectacular I will be sure to take photos and post them! (:

Run-down on my life as of NOW!

It is summer, well not really for me until the end of June because I am taking summer semester in school. I know, I know what was I thinking right!? I just wanted to get my last math class out of the way I guess. In August I will start my first semester in the Elementary Education Program at Utah Valley University. I cannot tell you guys how excited I am. I only have 4 semesters left of school, and I tell ya what.. I am truly counting down until I am done. I feel like I have been going forever but I know it is well worth it!
Right now, I am just working and going to school. My life really isn't too exciting. I go to school, go to work, then come home and do homework.. But I still have those fun moments :)!
This weekend I was able to go to Fillmore, Richfield, and Monroe to watch Kayden, my little brother, play some baseball! It sure was a fun time to be around the family! The Juab team did really good, even though we got beat out. We sure put up a fight for Gunnison, and only ended up losing by one point! It was a really intense game, and the boys did AWESOME!

Well, here I am "Blogger World"... Crazy I actually talked myself into getting one of these. Truth is.. I am tired of Facebook. It has been getting really boring to me- not to mention consumes my life lol. Maybe its just that no one ever writes on my wall, and I never write on anyone else's haha (: ! I wanted to do something new so that way people could still follow up with my life (If they want to), so I decided to start a blog! I will try to be faithful on updating weekly but I guess we will see how that goes!
